Southwind Farms Hosts IPC Trade Group

On a beautiful day, September, 24, 2015, Southwind Farms hosted an international trade group, led by the Idaho Potato Commission and their Foreign Representatives. Thirteen international export buyers visited the company’s Heyburn, Idaho facility. The participants represented interests from Taiwan, Phillipines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Puerto Rico.

The guests were given a tour of the plant, followed by a question and answer session. A luncheon was provided on the banks of the scenic Snake River which enjoyed by all.

Southwind Farms was proud to have the opportunity to showcase the company’s operation and demonstrate to the visitors the uniqueness of fingerling potato production. The company hopes to develop relationships with members of the group and create lasting business connections.

Southwind Farms is actively engaged in bringing International business to the company. Southwind’s partners realize the importance of International trade and welcome exporters to contact them and visit when possible. Southwind acknowledges that their product is fairly new to many export markets and the company works diligently to educate, promote, and sell their product worldwide.
